Doggy Rescue

On Monday Keswick MRT were called out after a couple walking on Walla Crag reported that their usually energetic and bouncy Alaskan Malamute had lost the use of her back legs.

Being a large dog the owners were unable to carry her down to their vehicle so called for help. Keswick team stretchered the dog down to a team vehicle and took it to a local vet for tests and further treatment.

Six team members were involved with the rescue.

We hope it works out OK for her: we lost a previous dog after he went down with precisely those symptoms.
