We've been doing some work on the "water levels" overlay in our mapping app.

We have a "water levels" overlay in our GPS mapping app which shows you where various gauging stations, which record the water level in rivers, streams, and lakes, are located across Great Britain and lets you check the latest figures. This can be useful when planning walks, especially where you're going to have to cross a ford.  read more ...

We've just imported the latest version, 18.2, of the Database of British and Irish hills.

• Top Ten Bagged Hills

In our site you can record if you've got to the top of any of our hills and so we now have stats, and also a top ten.

Back when we first created this site we were keen to hold details of all the hills in the British Isles (as defined by the Database of British and Irish hills) so every hill in that database has its own page with details about it, a map showing its location, and a photo if we have one. So, for example, click on Latrigg and you're taken to its page.  read more ...
