Hewitts

A hill is classified as a Hewitt if it is one of the 211 Irish, 180 English, or 136 Welsh hills over 2000 feet with 30 metre drop (Hewitt being, sort of, an acronym for Hills in England, Wales and Ireland over Two Thousand feet high).

We have a table of the 523 English and Welsh Hewitts sorted by name or height.

The TACit Press publishes booklets with details of the Hewitts.

WalkLakes recognises that hill walking, or walking in the mountains, is an activity with a danger of personal injury or death.
Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
