• Yet Another Release of Mapping
We've just put online a new release of our map tiles. This release also includes a number of changes, some resulting in feedback from users after our last release (and the blog post includes a rather cool slider to let you view the changes side by side).

• Updating Heights
We've been working behind the scenes on updating our height data which we use in our GPS mapping application and also for our walks.
We've been working behind the scenes on updating the height data which we use in our GPS mapping application and also for our walks. This has involved merging NASA SRTM height data for Ireland and the Isle of Man with the latest release of Ordnance Survey's OS Terrain 50 data for Great Britain (previously we were using SRTM data for Ireland and an older release of the Ordnance Survey's height data for Great Britain and Isle of Man). read more ... |

• Hills Database Updated
We've just imported the latest version of the Database of British and Irish hills. 45 were added including Lease Knott in the Lakes and there's also lots of other changes, mostly minor.
We've just imported the latest version of the Database of British and Irish hills which adds another four British hills to our database. We were previously on version 16 and we're now on 16.1 which was released on 3rd August 2018. read more ... |
