A good day although I was chasing the clouds. Get to Kentmere early as parking is in short supply. This walk takes in the Western half of the horseshoe and I included Thornthwaite Crag as it was clouded over in the summer when I climbed it. Headed over to the Nan Bield pass and returned to the village by the picturesque Kentmere valley with views of the reservoir. climbed: Yoke (2,316 ft), Froswick (2,362 ft), Ill Bell (2,484 ft), Thornthwaite Crag (2,572 ft) you can read more if you like at https://jimearl6.com/cloudbusting-in-kentmere/#more-8117
