This walk from Haweswater takes in two Wainwright’s and gives great views across Hawswater and over the Eden valley to the Pennines. Climb up via the old corpse road and then across a grassy path to summit Selside Pike. From the pike it’s down into a boggy hollow and then up to Branstree. Artlecrag Pike and the Old Survey post provide interest. From Branstree the path drops down to the Gatesgarth Pass which is followed back to Haweswater.
