A walk from the campsite at the foot of Little Mell Fell taking in Little and Great Mell Fell. Good views over to the Pennines from Little Mell Fell. The ground around Brownrigg Farm is very boggy, be warned and there are great views of Blencathra from the summit of Great Mell Fell. I then walked around to see if I could walk up Gowbarrow Fell as per Stuart Marshall’s book but there are numerous private land signs so I walked back to the campsite along the quiet country roads.
