Happy new year all, I am new to this forum I would like to ask a question please my wife has asthma we have done a lot of low level walks in the lakes that we enjoy, I have done a few of the Wainwrights by my self haystack, helvellyn, etc I take photographs to show my wife but they never do them justice, I would love to look out on a high up vista with my wife, can anyone please recommend a walking route with a gentle accent to the top of a Wainwright, this may be a big ask she is normally fit and well but does struggle with a continuous up hill hike, so a walk with some flat sections would be ideal, thank you in advance, sorry for the long post, happy and healthy new year to you all.

The most obvious one would be Latrigg. It's a lovely little Wainwright with cracking views down Derwent Water and our walk Latrigg: a short stroll talkes the gravel path designed for people with limited mobility and the whole walk is only a gentle 100m of ascent, so I think that might suit nicely as a first Wainwright.

After that take a browse through our walks rated Gentle and pay attention to the ascent and the walk profile when considering which you try (although you need to be careful with the profile as it tends to make things look worse than they are as the two axes aren't at the same scale normally).
