hi new to the forum . ive taken up hiking becasue it is something myself and son can enjoy together. we have walked up snowdon, skae fell and done a few different hikes around yorkshire but now want to try an overnight hike. ive had a look at the different lake district walks about 8 miles long but its difficult to know which ones are good for wild camping. can anyone suggest any good walks on this site and some good places to pitch up?

also is mardale car park ok to park on for one night normally? thinking of the high street and a few friends walk

regards
